Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Perform radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the direction of the Radiologist.
  
• Coordinate daily activities, including performing examinations and associated clerical duties.
  
• Document patient history, confirm patient identification, and prepare and administer contrast media as required.
  
• Consult with radiologists and other physicians as necessary.
  
• Select and operate equipment as dictated by the demands of individual procedures and demonstrate correct anatomic positioning skills.
  
• Maintain accurate records as required by departmental standards.
  
  
  
  Requirements
  
  • 
    
  • Successful completion of a formal Radiology Tech Program in an AMA-approved facility.
    
  • ARRT registration and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from AHA.
    
  • Registry eligibility with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
